Recently I have been recording tutorials for a new series, called “GIMP Basics,” which, surprisingly enough, will cover the fundamentals of how to edit an image in the Gnu Image Manipulation Program, or as it’s also known: GIMP.

After a late-night talk via Skype, I ended up doing a photoshoot until about 4am, involving a desk lamp, incense, a knife, a lighter, and me. Finally, I threw a few of the images together and created this composite piece.
What with the filters having run out and not being in the mood for the bitter instant white tea, I’ve settled for an aloe vera drink, water, hot chocolate, black cherry tea… well, let’s just say I’m not too bad off. (more…)
